Application-to-specification planning

Electric car company requirements by fleet duty

A useful vehicle request begins with the route and operating constraints, not a model-family headline. Translate passengers, cargo, daily distance, climate, parking, charging access and delivery stages into exact supplier questions. E-Mobility Forge coordinates the brief without representing a factory or guaranteeing suitability.

Translate operations into powertrain questions

Energy requirement

Estimate route energy from loaded distance, speed, stops, grade, climate and auxiliary loads. Ask for usable battery capacity rather than treating nominal kWh as available energy.

Charging window

Describe parking dwell, electrical service, connector preference and required turnaround. Request both AC and DC charging assumptions and whether equipment is included.

Resilience and service

Identify route reserve, seasonal variation, diagnostic access, maintenance training, spare parts and contingency charging needs without inventing a guaranteed range.

Match vehicle evidence to three operating profiles

Corporate and municipal pools

State passenger and cargo use, annual and daily mileage, mixed drivers, parking dwell, charger sharing and cabin climate demand. Compare seating, cargo volume, usable kWh, connector and service documentation.

Dealer or distributor assortment

Separate quantity by body, trim, drivetrain, color and option pack. Ask for exact model-year documents, labeling, manuals, warranty, diagnostic support, packing and quotation validity for each configuration.

Shuttle and service routes

Provide occupancy, luggage or tools, stop frequency, grades, accessibility needs, charging turnaround and route reserve. Payload and tested range must be reviewed on one duty basis.

Application-fit questions

Can a stated range be used for every fleet?

No. Load, speed, temperature, HVAC, stops, grades, tire choice and usable battery change the operating result.

How should charging time be compared?

Use the same starting and ending state of charge, battery temperature, connector, charger output and power-curve assumptions.

Does a higher battery capacity always improve the purchase?

Not automatically. Usable energy, mass, payload, charge time, route need and cost must be considered together.

What causes landed-cost mismatch?

Different options, chargers, Incoterms, inspection, inland transport, freight, duty and destination services can obscure the vehicle-price comparison.

Do exact-model documents guarantee registration?

No. Documents are evidence inputs; qualified destination-side parties assess applicability for the exact vehicle and model year.
